KEEP GOING

So fail. Be bad at things. Be embarrassed. Be afraid. Be vulnerable. Go out on a limb, or two, or twelve, and you will fall and it will hurt. But the harder you fall, the farther you will rise. The louder you fall, the clearer your future become. Failure is a gift, welcome it. There are people who spend their whole lives wondering how they became the person they have become, how certain chances pass them by, why they didn't take the road less travelled. Those people aren't you. You have front row seats to your transformation and in transforming yourself, you might even transform the world. And it will be electrifying and I promise you it will be terrifying. Embrace that; embrace that new person you are becoming. This is your moment. I promise you it is now, now, not two minutes from now, not tomorrow but really now. Own that; know that deep in your bones and go to sleep every night knowing that, wake up every morning remembering that. And then... KEEP GOING.

LIVING UP TO PEOPLES EXPECTATIONS

I realise that a lot of what happiness is, is about not living your life according to what ‘everyone’ thinks and expects, after all, who is ‘everyone’? And as a secondary student I find it especially hard . Stress is common among teenagers and it  usually develops when the student has to keep up with all the subjects , meet up to every single teachers expectations . And ALSO of parents . And as I am a new to this school ( DPS ) Its really hard for me to meet the expectations of the teachers and studies over here . My previous school wasn't this hard. So what I'm trying to say over here is that if you try to be what 'people' want you to be then then I'm afraid you won't be happy . And in my opinion being happy and satisfied with life is extremely important .

I'm Yumna Amin . And this is my blog . My first ever blog , which is actually a school project . I'm 13 and going to be 14 in a few days . I live in Pakistan . I LOVE reading books , any kind . I'm also interested in sports .
I am in eighth grade at Dawood Public School . I actually used to study in The City School but I was shifted here in eighth grade . That's where my whole life was turned around and I didn't even see it coming...
